SENATE BILL NO. 83 "An Act relating to the corporation income                                                                   
tax; and relating to the computation of interest under the look-back                                                            
method applicable to long-term contracts in the Internal Revenue                                                                
Code" was read the second time.                                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
Senator Meyer, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                               
adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 830.                                                               
Senator Ellis objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                             
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 83(FIN) "An Act                                                                       
relating to the corporation income tax; relating to the computation of                                                          
interest under the look-back method applicable to long-term contracts                                                           
in the Internal Revenue Code; and providing for an effective date" was                                                          
adopted.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 83(FIN) will advance to third reading on                                                                 
the April 1 calendar.
